Campaign Priorities
Many politicians will often give large promises which they cannot possibly hope to achieve, or give promises which are vague enough to dodge accountability. The similarity among these two kinds of promises is that neither are concrete.
I am not many politicians.
My campaign has three core priorities which I hope to achieve during my time in office. These are real, concrete things that will improve the lives of residents of Maricopa County when interacting with the Clerk’s office.
In the present moment, probate law cases (those dealing with wills, estates, and guardianship) can only be initiated in person at The Clerk of the Superior Court. Expanding e-filing including for probate cases will make it so that residents can save time, reduce legal costs, and access services regardless of disability or work schedule. It will also increase efficiency within the Clerk’s office due to paperwork being digital.
1. Advocate for Probate Cases to be able to be Initiated Over the Internet
The Clerks Office is one which is largely unknown to the general public. I believe this to be a failure on the part of the Clerks office. People should be able to learn more about our Clerks office and have it be more present in the community. I want to visit schools and community meetings to explain what the Clerk’s Office does and how residents can use it.
2. Raise Awareness of the Clerks Office
While the Clerk of the Superior Court has recently made large strides in language access (such as making the website multilingual in July 2026) there is still work to be done. I want to further expand language access with interpreters and have interpreters on staff who speak the languages of people who are currently immigrating such as Urdu, Haitian Creole, and Korean. Furthermore, I would also want to publish self help guides and other resources in multiple languages
